2018 CHRISTIAN BLAREAU FAIR PLAY AWARD – CALL FOR PROPOSALS
To all JJEU members
Ju-jitsu European Union (JJEU) established “Christian Blareau Fair Play Award” as the highest award in the JJEU for the excellence in the field of Fair Play and Ethics. This year Awarding Ceremony will take place during Paris Open, on Saturday, April 27.
The origins of the award proceed from the deep respect to deceased JJEU President, Mr. Christian Blareau, and his outstanding contribution to Martial Arts, particularly in developing and promoting Ju-Jitsu, his example of sportsmanlike behaviour and professionalism regarding his active role in the European Fair-Play Movement.
The objective of the award is to look for, find and recognise the move, action, behaviour… which in an extraordinary way represents the values of the organisation, the spirit of ju-jitsu, Fair-Play and Friendship, the Code of Ethics and the Olympic values.
The JJEU Member federations, the Board, the Committee/Commissions within the JJEU are invited to propose Fair-Play or ethic move for this award. Proposals from non-member organisations may be considered. Only one candidate per member federation may be considered in the process.
We kindly ask to send your proposals to the JJEU General Secretary no later than Wednesday, April 24 2019. Thank you.
