Europa CUP in DUO (JJIF ranking for U18/U21/Adults) with the new JJIF DUO Rules. Beveren, Belgium February 11th 2023. This event will be organized together with the Beveren Open in JiuJitsu and Fighting, which will take place on Sunday the 12th of February 2023.

JJEU is happy to invite you all for the 4th Edition of the JJEU Europa CUP in DUO and SHOW system. This year, 2023, will be a exciting event, last months JJIF created a new setup of the DUO system, so the Europa CUP DUO will be the first official event with these new rules. For Europe (but in the ranking event all JJIF members can join of course) this will be the event where National Federations can practice the new rules for the first time…… So don’t miss this oppertunity.

Message to JJNO – Duo

Dear friends, 
 
Regarding the new Duo Rules and upcoming JJIF World Ranking event: European Cup Duo 2023 in Belgium, we would like to inform ranking event will be conducted by the “old” rules as known for many years now.  
You can find these rules here: https://jjif.sport/download/duo-rules_2020/.
 
Most of you have noticed that the JJIF Duo Community is working on significant changes in the Ju-Jitsu Duo competition. Any rules sent out and circulating are working documents and do not yet replace the current rules.
 
The “new” rules still need to be finalised, but we are in the stage of the urgent need to have testing, share the status, gain experience, receive practical feedback and modification needs etc. 
 
We will also use the event in Belgium [11th February 2023] as a platform for more extensive testing: the First Duo 2023 TryOut! This event will be held after the regular European Cup (but on the same day) and is free of charge.
 
We will run First Duo 2023 TryOut! in a little modified manner – in (at least) two categories, one for U14 and U16 (men/women/mixed together) and one for U18 till Adults (men/women/mixed together). The event will use the version of the rules attached to this mail. 
 
We kindly ask teams in the official European Cup Duo part of the event to assist us in the testing event. Your cooperation will be highly appreciated. 
 
The Organizer will ensure that teams registered for the test event can participate in the regular European Cup without problems (SportData is modified accordingly).

Outlines Ju-Jitsu Acropolis Open

Dear friends, members of Jiu-Jitsu’s family.


Hereby I would like to invite you to the great and at the same time important sporting event of the sport we all love
and support, which will be held in our country in December 2022.


Ju Jitsu Open Acropolis 2022


From December 8, 2022, until December 10, 2022, at the Olympic Sports Centre of the 2004 Olympic Games, “Spyros
Louis”, Athletes Men and Women from all over the world will compete in all disciplines, Duo, Fighting System & Jiu-Jitsu
At Ju Jitsu Open Acropolis 2022, all ages categories will have the opportunity to participate and compete at a high level tournament.
Ages, under 12 years old, under 10 years old or even under 8 years old, boys and girls, in combination with the other  older ages, Cadet, Juniors, Men & Women, as well as Adults, are going to create a dynamic sports event at the end of 2022.


We have already ensured that the competitions are held in 100% compliance with the International Jiu-Jitsu Federation’s rule book.
We are waiting for you in one of the most beautiful capitals of Europe, Athens, to compete and achieve great victories through beautiful and exciting fights.
