FISU University Sports Day activity report of the Romanian Martial Arts Federation (Ju-Jitsu department)

INTERNATIONAL DAY OF UNIVERSITY SPORTS celebration on 20 September 2018

With the occasion of celebrating the International Day of Sports University on 20.09.2018, within Babeș-Bolyai University in Cluj-Napoca, the Romanian Ju-Jitsu Department organized under the auspices of the centenary year, a Workshop on the topic Ju Jitsu a scientific perspective of martial arts.

Dear sport friends

Please find attached the 2nd outlines for the coming European Championships in JuJitsu for Aspirants and Juniors Bologna Italy 2018

Referees must attend the referee meeting on Thursday afternoon. To attend the meeting is compulsory for all referees. During the referee meeting time will be spent on the VIDEO system usage. Referees must follow the referee dress code: white shirt must have short sleeves, dark grey/anthracite trousers no jeans allowed,, no shoes allowed, only black (2 pairs) allowed.
Neither the organizing committee nor the JJEU will be responsible for not respecting this obligation. However, if there won’t be enough referees for the competition to take place in good conditions, JJEU may decide to complement the pool of referees with national referees of the organizing federation decided by JJEU Referee Committee.

Contract with new sponsor Matsuru signed

Today, friday the 7th of September, Vice President and Treasurer Michael Korn, General Secretary Rick Frowyn and Joop van Rijswijk signed today the new sponsor agreement with Matsuru. JJEU is happy to welcome Matsuru as one of their main Master Suppliers and we are looking forward for a very good co operation for the coming 4 years.

Please accept the added invitation for the Europa CUP in Fighting 2018 which will be held in Leuven Belgium on the 3rd and 4th of November 2018.

JJEU board also invites all our National Federations to organize Europa CUP events and other JJEU events like a European Championship. If you have any question about these kind of organization please get in contact with Rick Frowyn, General Secretary of JJEU by emial to rick.frowyn

For 2019 we are looking for organizer for the next Europa CUPS:

* TEAMS
* Fighting
* Newaza – JiuJitsu

Europa CUP DUO will be again hosted in the city of Medemblik on the 30th of March 2019 and the Europa CUP for Under 15 in all disciplines will be held in Amersfoort the Netherlands on the 10th, 11nd and 12th of May (together with the Dutch Open)
