Kodokan Open 2019 Germany very succesfull.

On February 9th and 10th 2019 326 Ju-Jitsu athletes from eleven nations travelled to Norderstedt near Hamburg in Nothern Germany to compete in International Kodokan Open 2019.

They started in the Ju-Jitsu categories Fighting, Ne-Waza and Duo Classic in the age divisions Adults, U21, U18, U16, U14 and U12. The award for the best club won the hosts from Kodokan Norderstedt with nine gold medals followed by Den Edel Gouda NL from the Netherlands and 1. Ju-Jutsu-Verein Bernau from Germany with both six gold medals. The best nation (other than Germany) were the Netherlands, ahead of the athletes from Denmark, Belgium, Austria and Sweden.

There were also competitors from Switzerland, Slovenia, France, Bulgaria and Singapore.
For the first time the International Kodokan Open were held as a "JJEU supported event" and organized in cooperation with the Ju-Jitsu European Union. Many clubs and nations used the tournament in the Moorbehalle Norderstedt to see where they stand with their athletes at the beginning of the competition year.

First invitation for Kodokan Open 2019 (JJEU Supported event)

Dear Budo friends,

Please accept our best wishes to you all. The year 2018 is almost done, and it was a amazing year for most of us. 2019 is coming soon, and a lot of clubs and federations are looking forward for another year of great events. JJEU has planned a lot of nice co operations with partners in Europe, like the Kodokan Open Organization in Norderstedt, which again are organizing one of the biggest starting events of the year. Most of the clubs are using this event every year to setup their selections for 2019, and every year this event become stronger and stronger. JJEU and the Kodokan Organization are working together close, and therefore we are happy to announce that the Kodokan Open starting 2019 is a JJEU supported event, which means that the LOC of Kodokan fulfill the requirements of organizing JuJitsu events on the JJEU level.

Invitation for the ETM release 2 event

Dear Budo Friends

After the succesfull ETM1 in Planica Slovenia in 2017, JJEU is happy to invite you for attending the ETM2 course.

In this course, we invite and like to host 2 of your members per Federation, like a referee and a coach. JJEU will cover costs for a maximum of 2 officials per Federation, with a overall maximum of 30, so first one first. Survey results of JJEU members regarding agenda points of coming JJIF congress Malmö Sweden 2018

Dear Budo friends,

Only a few days left before we will start with the biggest World Championship for seniors ever. More then 600 participants from all over the world will fight for the title of World Champion.

After this event we will have the JJIF Congress on Monday. Last weeks JJEU sent out a survey to our members with some statements and questions about agenda points of the coming congress.
